![]() The town that forgot suddenly remembers and starts rioting at the hospital. Then they go driving around in a Scooby Doo van with a geriatric nurse to find Michael. All of a sudden after a shitty drunken speech everyone starts chanting “Evil Dies Tonight”. With Kills, all of a sudden people remember Michael Myers. This is highlighted when the kid says something along the lines of “so he killed a few people. The 2018 movie made it appear that night in 1978 was history, mostly forgotten. It makes you look at the characters on screen as idiots and you ask yourself how could they act so stupid. It makes you say “yea that could really happen”īad writing does the opposite. Great writing makes the suspension of disbelief easy. The 2018 movie was so well written that it made the fantastical seem possible. So any and all who hate the movie or dislike it, please help me understand the hate. Although they took out 2-6 out of canon for the franchise, anyone familiar with Michael Myers should not be as surprised. ![]() ![]() expecting a seemingly unstoppable killer to NOT kill all those people in one go is stupid (in MY OPINION) i am definitely not saying that the movie is the best, but i don’t understand all the hate. All of those people who took part in beating him, stabbing him, etc. ![]() Was it the fact that Michael killed all those people at the end? That shouldn’t be hard to believe. Was it the actual kills? I see a lot of people talking about how he killed the firemen, the three people in the car (can’t remember their names, but the lady dressed as the nurse, the doctor, and the older lady) now the gun kill was just ridiculous, i’ll admit, but again, not terrible. The way that was executed wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t unbearable (in MY OPINION). The townspeople mindlessly following Tommy, I can understand. I’m having a hard time understanding why so many people hate the movie. ![]()
